Course Description

The aim of the course is for each presentation to be developed as a performative action, including performance, video, installation, and related artistic formats. All artistic outcomes are ultimately intended for public presentation in art venues such as galleries, theatres, and cultural spaces. In this way, students develop their artistic profile, strengthen their visibility within the artistic community, and build a high-quality professional portfolio, while also contributing to the visibility of the educational institution.

After the successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • demonstrate knowledge of the history of scenography and costume design, as well as the processes of scenographic and costume production;
  • participate in theatre productions as researchers or assistants to the scenographer/costume designer;
  • analyze dramatic characters from a scenographic and costume perspective;
  • develop and present their first innovative scenographic and costume design proposals.
